How we process personal data on this website and when you contact us.
1. Data controller
XMB Group AG, Eichengasse 3, 4702 Oensingen, Switzerland. For questions about data protection, you can reach us at info@xmb-group.ch or +41 58 510 03 80.
2. Visiting the website
When you access the website, technically necessary connection data is processed, including your IP address, the time and destination of the request and browser information. This serves to deliver and secure the website. This necessary connection data is not combined with marketing data. Optional website analytics following your consent is described in section 4.
3. Email and phone
When you contact us, we process your details to respond to your enquiry and clarify any follow-up questions.
Contact links open your email application. Your message is only sent when you initiate sending there yourself. General enquiries are made by email or phone. A separate application form is available for advertised positions.
Please do not send particularly sensitive data or confidential project information by email. If you contact us about careers, we use your details to assess potential collaboration and communicate with you.
Online applications
When you apply for an advertised position, we process your name, email address, optional details such as phone number, availability and desired workload, as well as your CV and other submitted documents. These details are used to assess your application and communicate during the recruitment process.
The website forwards your application to XMB’s internal company administration and assigns it to the selected position. Application documents are not published on the website. Access is restricted to those responsible for recruitment and the technical service providers used for this purpose.
The processing information is recorded with a version identifier alongside your application. Please submit only documents necessary for your application. For questions or deletion requests, you can reach us at info@xmb-group.ch. The retention information in the “Recipients and retention” section also applies to applications. This form does not enrol you in a talent pool.
4. Cookies and external services
Consent and analytics information last updated: 9 October 2026.
Your preferences are stored locally as technically necessary consent settings. XMB Analytics runs on our self-hosted infrastructure and starts only after you consent to analytics. Approved page views, interactions and technical measurements are recorded with pseudonymous identifiers. Form entries, contact details and application documents are not included in analytics. Marketing trackers and session replay are not currently integrated. Fonts, images and symbols are served by the website’s server. Videos and social media feeds are not embedded.
In the location section, Google Maps can load after you consent to Experience / external media. Loading the map establishes a connection to Google, transmitting data including your IP address and technical browser information. Google’s further data processing is governed by its privacy information. The directions link opens Google Maps in a new tab.
You can change or withdraw your preferences at any time using “Privacy settings” in the footer. Withdrawal stops collection immediately, removes local analytics identifiers and initiates deletion of the associated analytics events. If there are connection problems, the deletion request is sent again later. Analytics events are retained for 90 days. Your consent is valid for no more than 180 days; a session ends after 30 minutes of inactivity. The current consent version is displayed in the consent dialog.
A link to LinkedIn only opens the external website when you click it. The respective provider’s privacy policy applies there.
5. Recipients and retention
Technical service providers engaged to deliver the website and email communication may process the data required for those purposes. We use contact details to handle your enquiry. Data is retained for as long as needed for this purpose or to fulfil legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under applicable data protection law, you may request access to, correction, deletion or delivery of your personal data. You may withdraw consent with effect for the future. Please contact us at info@xmb-group.ch. Where necessary for identification, we may request proof of identity.
7. Security and changes
We take technical and organisational safeguards into account when processing personal data. When accessed via HTTPS, data transmitted between your browser and the website is encrypted. This statement is updated when the technology used or data processing changes.
